Happy Trails Kennel is a small family run dog boarding kennel. We limit the amount of dogs we allow at all times to insure every dog is given the attention they deserve!

We are always available to fit your schedule and to help make that get away a little less stressful.
We are minutes away from the KC Speedway, Legends shopping center, the historic city of Leavenworth and also Lawrence (home of the KU Jay hawks).
What makes us special?
- We are SMALL. No huge over crowded buildings here!
- We are hands on ALL the time! Your dog will get so much attention that we are pretty sure they will beg to stay!
- This is our home, so we are ALWAYS here.. If there is a storm, then we are there to reassure your dog and provide comfort. They won't be waiting to see a staff member walk in at the start of the day.. we live here!
- It is just us! No random staff.. We are the only ones working with your dog, so we know whats going on ALL the time.
- When you call us, your calling our personal phone... no office staff no random call system. Its our cell and more than likely we are standing in the kennel messing with the dogs!
- We work our schedule around our doggy guest! Sure we have kids, a farm and life is life... but the business of working with your pet is a HUGE part of our lives and we LOVE it!
- We take the time to get to know each and every guest so that we can make them feel at home.
